Spectraviewers

Spectraviewers
(Some of them require Java)
Tim Bushnell has a nice writeup of why you should use them.
Read it here at expertcytometry

Spectraviewers tend not to show proprietary spectra from competitors, but Fluorofinder is a panel design tool that has incorporated the spectra of their library of fluors from multiple vendors into their workflow.  http://www.fluorofinder.com

Most companies don’t show fluorochromes from their competitors, but it is helpful to know what spectra are close (but note that they are not EXACT, so I don’t recommend or condone replacing these dyes with each other, e.g. FITC and Alexa 488). I’ll add more as I come across them (or they are suggested to me):
-Live/Dead Blue and Alexa 350
